This is actually pretty standard for purple undertone blushes - they tend to look really purple, but when they interact with skin, they turn into very soft and pretty pinks. I think Robert Welch has talked about the “why” on his channel.

A little tip for the super pigmented ones: puttting a bit on the back of the hand and then picking up with the brush from there, can give more control and decrease the risk of over-applying❤️
