Holliday is really strong early game, but later on in the big group brawls she's a bit useless. The barrels don't do enough damage to really even warrant avoiding them later on it. She's gonna need a lot of build experimentation.

The max upgrade bounce pad can be really strong in brawls since it's a big AOE stun, but it feels a bit hard to set up sometimes in a way that's useful.

She's definitely not useless at any stage. Obviously she becomes less crazy when people have more health, but she also gets to the point where headshots reduce the passive cooldown and you can do it more so she keeps up fine if you keep doming. Not to mention the barrels + jumppads can also do a LOT of damage just on their own, Mikael just didn't really focus on them as much as he probably could've.

Upgrade the jump pad and barells first, use the jump pad to engage, before hitting them throw barells, with the impact damage and barells does a lot of damage.

Her barrels kill horizontal momentum, so they’re really good against retreating enemies using stamina to get away. She’s also completely broken when paired with warden bc her barrel essentially guarantees a warden prison

Most owls share an innate ability to fly almost silently. Serrated edges along the owl's remiges bring the flapping of the wing down to a nearly silent mechanism it`s not a bug!

Here's Tip on how to use Barrel(Powder Keg) perfectly on close range Jump + 1(Barral Abilitiy) + Light melee trust me when you get the rapid recharge and use it on enemy this thing is broken Heres how i use the combo for it Use Bounce Pad land on Eenemy then they'll get stun and thats the time you're gonna use your Powder Keg 1 ability and enemy cannot escape that. It needs a bit of practice but hope you understand May be its a bug or no if its a bug then hope they'll fix it soon

Ok here some tech you dont know to make your barrels into a cannon backwards dash jump + 1 barrel and heavy melee. you can change the velocity of your depending on your momentum in air

@@shuubi4945 Extra health, resto shot etc there's a ton of items that give you bullet resist in lane. Also no need to exaggerate to make it seem more broken, he hits you for 40 damage then 190 more damage with the headshot which is on an 18 second CD. Plenty of characters have a ton of burst in lane especially Yamato but you know that. I'm not blaming you for getting owned we've all been there, I'm blaming you for being like wowee that's op when you're playing the most broken laner in the game.

@@shuubi4945 Literally just green items. Extra Health/Combat Barrier/Bullet Armor are all relatively cheap. The real solution here though? Yamato should've recognized Holliday has a strong early and stopped trying to take ego trades. Yamato players are so used to winning every matchup with the alt fire spam it apparently didn't even occur to this one that she wouldn't auto win trades, that's why she lost. Should've just done what every other hero has to do against Yamato and played safe, or actually landed an ability if she really HAD to fight.

Can some explain what makes certain characters burst, like i understand that with holiday its really just the crackshot that you should be worried about in lane but isnt that most heroes

If you look at a hero like Infernus for instance, his damage is pretty consistent. Or Haze, or even Wraith. They deal consistent damage with their guns thanks to their passives, or Wraith's cards which load with gun damage. The same can be said of Vyper, Ivy, Seven, Vindicta... Burst heroes like Holliday, Bebop or Pocket rely on 1 or 2 high-damage, usually high-cooldown abilities or combos to deal damage, and when those are no longer available, they become significantly less threatening. Of course you have to keep in mind that the burst/poke classification is a spectrum, not a binary, and can change from build to build, patch to patch, or at what stage you are during the game. It's mostly useful to know during the laning stage, what your laning opponent's kill condition is: do they want to whittle you down through consistent damage? Or are they waiting for one over-extension to be able to use all their abilities and burst you down from 60% HP?

I have a theory that a lot of people are playing holliday wrong. I think you actually buy Crippling, swift, burst, berserk/frenzy, and spellslinger (not sure if spellslinger makes your 3 hit harder. if that isn't how the interaction works, then hs booster is better) and ricochet. Ricochet should be prio because your bullet effects on your 3 do indeed dupe, meaning if you hit one person in the head and one of their enemies is nearby, your 3 double dips on the -4 second cdr and in a team fight you can end up immediately winning if you hit enough headshots. Plus when your firerate is high enough (and assuming you're an aimer) you can really really do disgusting things to people that don't realize what they are pushing. You hit them in the head 5 times in 10 bullets (which fire very quickly now) and all of a sudden they regret. That plus after maxxing your barrels you can use them as way to scare people because once they understand what your dps can do, they realize getting hit by a barrel and being put into the air near you is basically a death sentence and they will avoid the barrel like it has a plague inside it. Also: I have confirmed that burst does no work with her 3. The wording on burst is written in a way that would allude to it working, but it does not sadly.

I love Holliday but she just isn't that good, hitting headshots is really hard, I found myself wondering if Mo had a head. This makes the T3 upgrade on her pretty weak as well because it is so inconsistent. I think her bullets need a bigger hit box or something like that did with the vindicta assassinate

Calico is actually really well balanced atm. Ran a spirit build and she dominated without being OP. Her 3 should be a more useful skill though. At the moment it doesn't serve much purpose and it's easier to rotate lanes without it than with it

The main problem with her is how bad she is at farming. The passive doesnt trigger on creeps so farming takes forever, maybe you can get by with barrels and cold front but its always going to be worse at farming than someone like haze.
