This has to be one of the most brutal survival races that MIKAN has ever made. Only 2 out of the starting 768 marbles survived, and even that's questionable considering how many proliferation phases there were in this race..

Over three quarters of the marbles died in phase 1. Then that went x4, but then even more died in phase 2. From about 4/6 of the marbles, phase 3 took the count down to exactly 32, which then went to 512 (the most proliferation we saw.) This was clearly much needed.

I watch these with my class during a wet lunch. They love them. If I write up on the board who each child is going for then we are fine. If I don't then I can guarantee that coincidentally every child just happened to be going for whoever won. Usually they like rainbow, monochrome or the primary colours. But the winners of this battle were so surprising it was hilarious when the class all said that was who they chose from the beginning.

At the start there were 768 marbles. At the end of round 1, there was 125. At the start of round 2, there was 500. At the end of round 2, there was 86 At the start of round 3, there was 344. At the end of round 3, there was 31. At the start of round 4, there was 992. At the end, there is only 2. In total, there were 2362 marbles both from the start of the race and the x2 multipliers. Subtracting the marbles at the beginning of each round with the survivors of the last so no marble is counted twice. (Though it's likely I messed up somewhere and the number is either bigger or smaller.) This means that, if the numbers are correct, 2360 marbles didn't make it to the end. There wasn't any need for me to attempt to figure this out, but I did it anyway out of curiosity.
