I find myself oddly invested in these, and i think red had an unfair advantage in this one. whenever the +1 in the centre is hit the ball drops directly down. If no other balls hit it off course it will always go to red side

That's a small advantage, but the real advantage red had in this battle is the inexplicable reversing the blue tank did e.g. from 0:40 to 1:20. That going backwards creates a marble trap that makes the blue marbles bounce back harmlessly to the left and fall back down, whereas the red marbles have a much higher chance of ending up in a useful slot.

Ultimitly it is not unsurprisingly that blue lost, since red had an advantage over blue. Whenever the +1 marble drops straight down, not getting hit by anything, then it always goes to red, and in an otherwise mirror battle, such a small difference will lead to the advantaging side winning more often than not.

This is kinda biased towards red, whenever a +1 gray marble is spawned (it is meant to be directly in the middle), it always falls to the red side. watch the video and try to prove me wrong. This is also how some blue marbles were converted to red.
