Mike, I’m a service technician from the UK, crazy seeing your kit, we have two 9RXs at our dealership and that’s considered a lot over here! To stop the beeping you can temporarily unplug the buzzer relay in the fuse box, it looks like a relay but has a speaker in the middle of it! Hope this helps!

I yelled at mechanics after 3 hours of beeping. Never got fixed. Cant stand broken sensors, and that was a broken sensor if i’ve ever seen one. And the next machine had a list of about 10 that was busted

This is a problem that would be easily solved in the software. The third time this alarm turns on and makes you press ok, have another button made available that says “ignore until next restart” or something similar. That way these super annoying ones don’t make the operators go nuts, but people still get reminded there’s an issue every time they restart the tractor.

Who else predicted that the sensor would not fix the problem? Paging Eric O. Please keep us updated. It is probably the wiring harness, with the pigtail the most likely point. Second option is a bad axle bearing allowing the tone ring to destroy the sensor.

Tape of the slots in front of the buzzer. This will dampen the annoying beeping noise A LOT, much more than you would think.

@@mikemitchell2554 In a semi truck the beeper is a tiny little round thing smaller than a pencil eraser with two metal prongs coming out of it. I had to remove it once and was amazed at how small yet how loud that thing was.

So what I have done in all my machines is disconnect the buzzers and beepers in all monitors cabs everything. I've taken the monitor apart and cut the soderd connections with side cutters. Highly recommend it!

Pretty common thing if you buy a used air drill that is a ways from where you live , if you buy one hundred KM from your yard you can’t drive a tractor to get it so you get a semi.

@@olenilsen4660 prevents wear on a tractor it’s not a big difference but less wear on the tractors tires, transmission, engine etc as it costs a lot to fix a tractor and rebuild transmissions and diffs. Also about fuel efficiency and usage as tractors burn a lot of fuel in a hour. But it is mostly the wearing out of the machine.

@@olenilsen4660 It's is very tough on the tractors Tyres or tracks will over heat and start to get damaged Tracks especially cause they use the dirt in the field as lubrication so the can't fo fast or far on road When tyres coast a few k a peice amd tracks cost uo to 10k a peice you do want ever you can to reduce wear Also fuel usage would be be insane if you wind a tractor out to 20mph

Idk how it works for this big tractors, but in smaller JD u can just silence or remove buzzer completly. It looks like a relay, but it is usally looking like speaker on the chart/manual. And it have potentiometer on one side.

One thing about the old Massey. It doesn't have bunch of sensors. One time my Challenger derated just as crossing BNSF RR tracks. Talk about getting caught up on praying.

Yea, our semi-newish (6 years) tractor has a transmission error that pops up only when we use it for driving a cart. Dealer can't find the problem (we're small time farm too 320 acres at best so it's not from use). I thought the country was neat to see in video 2. Kinda beautiful imo.

It’s like the exhaust gas filter on some deeres. The book says you can change it like every 750 hrs. Change it every oil change or the engine will derate. Stupid sensors and extra stuff.

Man that was a painful episode to watch, I can still hear it!! Dammit !! And I was not even there. Side note, friendly reminder to everyone that don't care to wear ear protection when working in a noisy environment, that can become a constant thing you will hear all the time, night and day, and you can't turn it off, so please do take care.

I reckon it will be more efficient to send one drill and tractor to the 75mile field. All drills are loosing 2 days of seeding time, neverminding hours on the tractors.

Surely you could either go into the monitor / controll system and turn off all audible alarms? at least other brands has that options (varying degree of hidden though), or just open the monitor and physically disconnect the speaker, usually just a 3 pin connector.

Latest parts selling scheme from JD. The driveshaft has invisible (non-existent?) damage. we have to replace it to get the sensor to shut up.
