Thank you Peter for your discussion of Laban with the amazing Mike Alfred. I studied Laban a good few years ago at Arts Ed Drama school which I found it helpful and effective. Your discussion was extremely fascinating and inspiring to me and I feel I could revisits parts of it in working with certain characters perhaps...

Another fascinating talk, this time about 'Laban Efforts' - something every actor studies at Drama School but rarely visits again. It's interesting that Mike calls this the "most important technique" and he then goes on demonstrate them along with working examples. He's right about Laban's books being quite opaque at times.
