the Hu band consists of 8 members, the 4 main members are vocalist consisting of the older interments like the Horse Fiddle (Morin Khuur) and the Mongolian Guitar (Tovshuur), and the Jaw harp, and the other 4 members being old tradtional drums, one on modern day drums, one on electric Guitar, and one on the Bass Guitar.

The main theme of the song is the storm like nature of The Great Khan. They say in the song he is the bearer of Tengri, this alludes to him having the mandate to rule everywhere as Tengri is also the sky. They call the earth the blue world as it is beneath the sky. As someone else correctly states the Great Khan was also known as Temujin or Smith. Some think this may be because he forged the Mongol People into a unified state. His burial was kept secret with any unsuspecting witness being put to death. It is believed he may be in the Northern Mountainous region but no one is sure. As with King Arthur there are legends that say in the time of greatest need the Great Khan will return to lead his people.

Hu is a little problematic for me… Because of the nationalism. Similar content in a Swedish context would be neo-nazi. But I guess I can appreciate nationalistic music if it is not my nation. And they are so good :-)
