One of my favorite scenes from the first season is the Christmas episode where Molly is dropping all kinds of broad hints about the Christmas present she'd like, but he's completely oblivious. Molly: "I love the coffee at that new place on Nelson. They make it in a French cafe press; I think they even sell them there." Mike, "Do you need jumper cables?" (Molly gives him an incredulous look) Mike,"Then I don't know what to get you, you're a closed book, lady!" 😏🤭

I enjoyed Mike and Molly, I didn’t like Joyce,and how she talked down to Mike. For once I’d would have liked him,to insult her weight, by calling her the cript keeper. I like mikes mom,she was a hoot, and loved the way she and Molly went after each other but loved each other too. Carls nana, was great,she’d tell off anyone who is wrong,and she wasn’t shy about it. I could have done without Vince .

I loved this show and still do. Mike was the funny one, and Vince and Mana were both funny. Molly could be funny but sometimes annoying, especially when she starts writing her book. The show lost a lot during this time. I was hoping Paddy(Gerald Mcreany) would have stayed on. I found him to be funny, but Molly had to write her dumb book, so I guess that left little room for him. It seems like she wanted all of the attention as the main actor on the show. But overall it was a good one.

Couldn’t find KZbin of Episode “Joyce’s Will Be Done”. But the reason Joyce left Victoria the house made no sense at all. She tells Molly she given to Victoria and then says Victoria will sell it as her reason. Don’t want it leave it too Molly cause she wants her to leave. Makes no sense at all. Molly most likely moves to Mike’s mom’s house then, so not much moving to better place. They can mutually sell it and share money and both move. That excuse was so lame and seen before in other shows “I don’t want you to be stuck here…. deserve better”. lol. Mikes a Chicago Cop so not going much farther away. And if think she deserves a better house/place. Half the house money on selling the house can only help. Love the show but that episode was so stupid and get what trying to do cause seen in so many other series and movies. But made no sense in this situation. Terrible plot.
