Fakie (Kickflip Frontside 180) = Fakie (Frontside Flip). It's 100% correct. Calling a fakie 180 a half-Cab isn't more correct, it's simply a definition of "half-Cab". But is there any chance that Dupont and Carroll will change their minds about this?

that pancake or illusion thing they say about some hard flips are the only types that i consider hardflips like the tyron olson or kareem cambell floaty hardflips brandon turner does them sick those frontside varial kickflips which thats what a hard flip is when these pros do them like that were it just looks like a frontside varial flip its ugly too me though in my old eyes hardflips are always those floaty between the legs pancake type trick that looks so raw when its off a high ledge or stairs

There may be no fakie bs flip, but there is a nollie bs flip. This is the way I look at it, there is the - half cab/ or full cab - then there is the - fakie fs 180 - or if it is flipped than - fakie fs flip. Then go nollie and you have the - switch half cab - .. I say switch instead of nollie because when you say - half cab - the backwards part is already implied, you can't do a half cab without riding backwards, so saying nollie half cab is the same as saying fakie half cab - which is just unnecessary because half cabs can only be done fakie or nollie anyways.. So, there is the switch half cab, and then the nollie bs 180, or with a kickflip, nollie bs flip.
