All of these scenes put together like this really shows how much Mike took care of Will in the previous seasons. Everyone is painting him out to be the bad guy - and don't get me wrong he was being a total jerk this season - but he probably feels a mixture of relief and abandonment over Will. Like, yeah he doesn't have to look out for Will anymore because he left, but Will was a big part of Mike's life and identity. You don't just get over someone leaving you like that, even if it's out of their hands, and that's probably where all the resentment came from. It just seems like Mike felt betrayed in some way based on the way he was treating Will, like the trust there was broken, not that he was just being a jerk "just because". Should he have written letters? Yeah, for sure - but he was probably dealing with all that emotion internally and just couldn't handle writing to a friend he felt like he just "lost." Plus, Mike is canonically an oblivious idiot. Anyways, this video hurt me personally, so thanks. I loved it :')

God, i’ve been theorizing too much lately ESPECIALLY about byler. After rewatching every ‘’byler’’ scene from season 4 about 50 times straight I can’t help but notice one major detail, Mike. It all has to do with Mike, the main reason (i think) he’s not saying the L word to Ell (jane) is because he started seeing her in a different way, and definitely not romantically. Just the amount of stutter he has when fighting with Jane is incredible, the man is clearly in denial about things. Not to mention in this season Mike tries to drift away from Will most likely due to his own self, being confused (sexuality wise), yet Mike always feels regret and goes back to Will, because he knows that Will is still going to be his friend no matter what happens, (legit the quote Mike said in episode 4 not exactly but very close to it). Basically what I’m trying to say is, Mike most definitely is starting to part from Ell romantically and might just be growing feelings for Will. (The evidence at this point is just slamming us in the face)

this made my heart feel like. sore, like it literally ached watching this video. because you took this concept, and you flew it to the fucking moon, dude. there is not a single part of this video that is out of place, it all flows so beautifully. as for the story you told - ugh so so so beautiful and tragic. because this song is like, so accurate to their situation. because will doesn’t hate eleven, he loves her so much. she’s his sister. but he loved mike first, romantically, and that’s not something that will go away, especially as he gets older. the pain will must be in, and the turmoil he feels must be so crushing. in s5, i seriously wonder if he’ll snap, like really snap to the point where it’s not just a scene or a few scenes, but an episode. i really loved the way you interlaced flo saying “only love makes you that crazy. and that damn stupid” and you laid over the “stupid” part with will when he destroys castle byers. that was SOOOOO beautiful. i can’t gush over this video enough. love u so much dude thank you
