Bs narrative that the cowboys draft and develop well. They fell into dak into the 4th round, romo was undrafted free agent. So not a qb. Drafted Micah as a LB not a pass rusher. Mazzi and Tyler gyton as 1st rounders flop thus far. Average at best drafting team but have no idea a QB the most important. Threw away 4th rounder on trey lance who they refuse to play even when dak is injured. Wake up peeps, they are average......

Also Dak and them went and toured coach mikes hometown and Dak spoke up and said coach mike needs more authority so if its really "omg Dak secrety runs the Dallas cowboys then why wouldn't they just give coach mike another contract? By the end of this contract, Dak will have been paid nearly a half a BILLION dollars by the Jones family. The Cowboys are a lot of things (uninspiring, irresponsible, short sighted) but I don’t think you can call them cheap.

No they haven't been cheap with Dak. Which to me is really interesting because imo, he's not a top 5 or even top 10 QB. Why elevate his salary to the very top if your not going to go get him more help on both sides of the ball? This off season will be interesting because they probably lose Osa, Gohlston & Lewis. Maybe Kendricks too. With Sam Williams, Diggs & Overshown huge question marks, and Tank probably gone as well, 2025 could be very rough if management doesn't go after some real dudes!

@RFM-CDA name the players they singed big contracts to not named dak or ceedee. Ceedee was deserving to be top paid so they really had no choice. They're cheap in terms of free agency spending only go after cheap free agents and also cheap thats why McCarthy didn't come back and they hired schotty bc they knew they didn't have to pay schotty. You hear of ANY other nfl teams wanting to pay a coach on incentive based scale? I'm a cowboys fan and it's a 💩 show and getting worse and worse.

All due respect, they ARE cheap. Didn't use to be. Back in the early 90's, pre-salary cap, Jerry SPENT. He and Eddie Debartolo (49ERS) used money to their advantage. There were free agent wars. Those days are gone. Stephen holds the reins. They've become cheap for sure.
