I saw Mike at The Venue, Derby last week.. along with Dr John Cooper Clarke and Toria Garbutt. Absolutely loved it, and was hooked. Purchasing 2 of Mike's books I was reading it. Went downstairs to get a drink.. The missus said "Was you talking to yourself upstairs?" "I was reading out poetry. It just works better than having it in my head I suppose" I have been to many gigs of bands, but found Mike, Toria and this JCC guy ;) just the best as it did it something that bands didnt quite hit off, I could hear the words, I could picture the scenes, I was there along with them. Sheer brilliance. The song "St Anthony - An Ode To Anthony H Wilson" is yet again sheer brilliance. Keep it up Mike... :)

Just an amazing piece of poetry, with such wonderful presentation from people who knew and loved him. As a Haçienda regular, l cannot listen to this, without shedding tears. 🐝🚧🐝

The Christie helped my mate who was diagnosed with Lung cancer ....unfortunately he died at 50 but cannot praise enough how the Christie tried to help as they do with every patience who goes through their doors.
