Hey Mike, These original vintage campers were put together structurally as minimal as possible for weight. The cabinets, closets, beds benches and all the furniture were part of the structural integrity of the camper. So when it gets hollowed out It barely has enough structural integrity to stand without collapsing like a house of cards. You might be okay with redoing the inside with metal. But just bear in mind how they were originally built and how all the interior cabinets and wooden structures are really what kept it together. I'm happy to help if I can.
@dirtbillydeluxe10 ай бұрын
Thank you! I am planning to build the cabinets and seats in as additional structure also!

Oh and one other thing! Chad from @Chad'sFab has some vintage appliances from an old Winnebago that he pulled the motor out of. He had asked me if I wanted The appliances, but I haven't had any projects where I've needed a stove, an oven, etc. maybe you could reach out to him and see if he could get it to you guys? Hope this helps! Love the concept of a rock crawling vintage camper!

You need to bevel those rear brake pads that can cause squealing as well. Put a little bevel on the top in the bottom so they’re not squared up. If your front pads don’t have a bevel in them make sure you do them as well.
