You can see that dogs sacrifice means a lot to Mike. Vinny is a hero pup. Vinny sacrificed his life to Mike can return home to teach and provide us with the knowledge we need. The butterfly effect of that dogs sacrifice is incredible. God bless you Mike Glover. You rock man.

I remember Mike talked about that story of how his team member(Vinny, the dog who was KIA) saved his life somewhere on the internet, cant recall where or what the video was called. Either way, as someone who loves dogs, Mike gives the dogs that fought besides our operators during the GWoT a lot of respect and credit, they deserve A LOT more recognition by the greater public than theyve received. The GWoT was the first war where we REALLY deployed the widespread use of k9's on the battlefield for more than just tracking, and detection purposes, but as a force multiplier that were cross trained in a variety of skills. A lot of amazingly intelligent, tough, loyal dogs were lost in those 20 years in the ME, but they saved countless lives of our service members, including Mike's.

One of my first days on our PB, our STA platoon engaged an enemy fighter with a single Raufoss round to the back. The dude had a pair of PVS-14s, a chest rig with a bunch of mags, a few grenades as well, and a gorgeous AK. Compared to the usual fighter who had Enfields and PPSHs, this freaked us out. Also, the Raufoss produced NO EXIT WOUND

@@marvinmartiani1337 Round could have been dog shit, and the bad guy could have had a bunch of weird shit on his kit that bled off energy/deviated the path. With that many Tics over 20 years its not an if, but when weird stuff happens.

Your first problem is assuming that the round would have even set off. It's designed to set off on vehicles or other hard objects. A human body ain't hard enough to set them off. The round would have just zipped through without doing much damage. It would have ruptured innards from the pressure and temporal cavity formed, but then just zipped out the back without much of a size difference from the entry, or could have became lodged in bone and never exited. Sometimes you get lucky, round hits the weapon, or a piece of steel they may have and go off.

The American people have been conditioned to expect the government to fix their problems, let alone a disaster - that reliance on the government, and thereby absolving yourself of responsibility for your own and your family's, let alone your community's, care/safety means people are not prepared for a situation when the government cannot, or will not, help them - dependence is, effectively, surrender; handing over control over your life to an external entity, aka slavery. I want to ask Mike Glover how he deals with the anger and feelings of revenge from the guy that sort of pushed him out of the Unit for no valid reason. How do deal with that feeling of one single a-hole pushing you out of the most elite SOF unit on earth? How do you deal with wanting payback? I heard you were a respected and talented operator too, which makes it even more infuriating. Do you hold on to it or how do you let it go? BTW I’m not talking about Pranka’s usual IG trolling. I’m talking about the person and healing. I ask because the same thing happened to someone else and it’s eating him up and destroying him with anger and hatred. Only Mike will understand what I’m talking about. Unfortunately, Scott Miller wasn’t there to help him & in- f’ck the situation (they are long time friends). Shit, neither of you will probably even see this.
