I saw Mike in Malvern some 30 odd years ago. I laughed so much that the lady next to me told I had better pace myself or I wouldn't last the second half of the show. Magic!

Met Mike in Kirby Lonsdale when he was promoting his book "The Armchair Anarchists Almanac" While he was signing my copy I said to my son (then only 14 months old) "when your dads curled up fighting for breath, this man is the cause". Quick as a flash, he replied, "I have trouble with the local cider too". He is indeed Englands answer to The Big Yin. Every time I hear his name I hear those immortal words "DO WE NEED A PENCIL MISS WORSNICK"

A fan since I was 10. Happy memories watching his one man show on bbc2 with my late Dad. Fond memories of laughing so hard you can't breathe. My dad would look to see if I understood the adult jokes and me trying to hold the laughter in! 😆 Mike your a legend! The scouts stories legendary also. 😀

I used to watch him on TV in the 1980s in my early teens and record the show on audio cassette and after best part of 40 years still remember this song 😄 🎵

Saw him live in London years ago with my ex and her sister (both Lanky lasses). Sandra's sister spent most of the gig doubled up with laughter in the aisle pleading 'Make 'im stop!' Mike, you're an absolute legend, always have been.
