F*ck that smarts! It's so simple it's genius. I used to double the instruments ending up with 3-4 tracks with plugins and effects just for one synthline, thats crazy! This completely changed my workflow forever, thank you!!!

No shortcut. You can just stretch the midi part in and out. Move your pointer on the top of the midi part then move it to the edge of the clip. Its appereance will change, allowing you to change the duration of the clip (midi or audio)

great video!! thanks so much!! quick question tho...can you create banks (as he's showing w/ NI instruments) and presets WITHIN a particular preset of the Sampler/Operator as well? I don't feel like I've seen the ability to create preset banks short of within the browser, which necessitates multiple instances of the same preset on two tracks with changed parameters. thanks!!

I want to use Massive in this way for live performances but some sounds may be a bit louder than others. Is there a way to control the volume level of each program without having to create instrument rack with several instances of massive?

i do have an issue with my massive im using a more up dated version of massive and ableton or older which ever. but my midi program window lists them as disabled not empty?

I use to convert the clips in audio 4 have multiple clips and changes, but this allow me to only have audio clip that cannot be manipulate in the vst....

But the this riff is made up by 4 chords. When he shortens and drags the second program next to the first the pattern is like this, 1 2 1 2 . Then he makes som magic and it changes to 1 2 3 4. How did he change from [1 2] to [3 4] in one click?

My VST presets all say disabled with Massive. I can use this technique fine with other VSTs like Bass Station.. what gives?
