what's great about this song is it has a pure street sound but that doesn't take away from how pure of a love song it is. and there's no playing the woman or something that points out to him taking advantage of her in some way, nor does it show him being fooled by a woman. it's just a true love song which are so rare in hip hop and music in general nowadays, a love where you can trust the other person and are honestly riding for them without lacking anything or being extra. this is like the prototype of so many hip hop love songs that are too ironic to take themselves seriously like this one. notice how there's no "I'm him with him cause he's a player" or "I'm with her cause she's bad", it's all about the loyalty between each other
