Huh? 96 - 2004 had far more abundance and quality of decent tracks than in 06/07. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed this time too and loved tracks like this, but the genre was for sure starting to see decline. 90's was the golden years, cmon now.

HDC It is a matter of opinion but I find the trance of the 90's to be more bland generally compared to the sounds of 2006-2008.

Then you havent listened to enough 90's stuff my friend ;) It was the most exciting and creative peroid of the genre! 00-04 especially saw the biggest explosion of splintering sub-genres. Anyway, Trance4life!

I think the reason why I prefer the 2004-2007 era is because it's hard to find 90's trance in 320 kbps. Everything sounds a bit old and cheesy. 2004-2007 had similar vibes and the songs still took you on a journey but everything was starting to sound better in quality

OMG yes and how inspired it was, like the lead into halfway through Aria epica earlier in the Vol. Vol 4 is my favorite of all of those if I had to pick one, Then Vol 3, but all great from 1 - 9, and then goodbye to that original genre really I feel; went too pop and slowed down
