Mike LoRocco is a legend! I will always have major respect for him! There are only a few riders who have careers like you. Always fast and always a great guy

2 strokes made motocross fun, 4 strokes turned it to a Nascar event (and it shows with low attendance and Enduro is where it is at now 2 strokes rule).

Fun Fact: At the end of 1997 I offered Mike LaRocco $50,000 plus expenses to have my "Record Label" become the co/sponsor of the Jack in the Box/Factory Connection Team.Just yesterday, I found his final letter stashed away in a box, stating that he had landed the final piece of Sponsorship budget and would have to decline, but if we would of started negotiations earlier we could of got the deal done. It has his signature at the bottom and I would like to at some point have him re-date and resign it. It needs to be framed.

@@mx-co2388 , Yes I am. I will forever be a fan of this sport. Started riding when I was 7 years old. Have raced my entire life. Chased trying to become a Pro up until age 23 and then thought "hey go make a living". I ride all of the local tracks still... Prairie City, Hollister, Marysville, etc. I will ride these bike until they put me in a box.

True battler with that riding full on attack position, loved watching him doing outside motocross and a great ambassador for the sport 👏

I remember back in the late 80's getting to ride a racing friends 500 for the first time! whiskey throttle it straight through his back yard dirt track and over his fathers stockade fence. I was forgiven but not ever allowed to ride the back yard track again.

Donn: Great interview. Funny you put the two Mikes next to each other in the photo shoot. If MMA was around back then I bet ML would be a contender.

Mike is awesome! Could come back from a bad start and be a threat to win any weekend. The original hard worker. So fast! Nothing but respect for his entire career

Looking back on it my respect for mike loRocco has grown. The length of his career, if he had better starts where better he could be as winning as McGrath, but he has my respect more now cuz like him I don’t look friendly out and about. He really kept his pace longer than anyone

Next time ask him about 2002 when he came together with Pastrana and broke his arm. The Rock came marching up to Travis after he crashed out like he was gonna kill him. I know Travis is tuff but he must have crapped his pants a little. 😂

1:56 in and I just have to say. This guy was my favorite back in the 90's. He was a beast. He still looks like a beast. I just liked how he was never a pretty boy. Just down to earth guy.
