I remember that Illinois Indiana game very vividly. I was standing behind my parents couch because I couldn’t sit down while watching. I remember jumping up and down yelling and very clearly how quickly Tyler Griffey brought his hands down after he shot and it went in. But also Christian wordless reaction with a very sad slumped shoulders and head down disbelief reaction.

Sorry If Ben is not scoring the net from 3 he offers very little. His rebounding is horrible. especially when he is lined up on free throws. Needs to come off the bench and provide offense only.

Maybe KJ (and BU) will figure it out soon enough, but there can be a morale and thus energy tipping point in a season if teammates start to feel like your offense is mostly just stand around watching the point guard dribble and then either turn it over or get it to the shooters too late in the shot clock to do anything but chuck it up there.

Having seen KJ in person at the Bama game, he's playing at another level and he's incredible. What does it matter whether he's a lottery pick two games into the BigTen season? Love LaTulip's insights as always and enjoy the pods, just finding this distracting at the level it keeps coming up

We just had two games in a row where KJ drilled a bunch of shots coming down the stretch, including some really tough looks, and the first questions to Mike were about whether he's a lottery pick... maybe it's just the order of things that's strange. Take it for what it's worth. Enjoy the shows overall. Mike's take on Jake's playing time was really insightful as well, btw... hadn't thought about it. Thanks for the messages. Hoping the Illini give the Vols a tough time tomorrow.

What are you talking about? He just played against his brother (7’1”, Arkansas, 13 points, 6 rebounds) and ate his lunch (21 points, 6/9 3’s, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 steals). Better do your homework next time.

You both are way too defensive of Humrichous. He is getting played close to 40 minutes a game and he can't shoot, won't rebound, and is getting hunted on defense and can't guard anyone 1:1.
