I really wish people would stop with the comparisons between Pete Carroll and Mike Macdonald. I'm happy about the new beginning, but saying he is this or that over the winningest coach in our franchise's history is insane. 11 out of 14 years were winning seasons, 2 super bowl appearances, 1 super bowl win, and tons of great memories. But compared to 2 wins to that and say he's better is crazy

This is the trap game of all trap games. There's a 100% chance the refs are going to be helping Miami in this game: calling every goofy PI, defensive holding, and "roughness" penalty they can; constantly rescuing Miami's offense. This isn't paranoia or a conspiracy theory: referees in the modern NFL clearly try to keep the game "exciting" and fans engaged by helping the weaker team. They also try to artificially pump-up passing yards and the score by throwing arbitrary, ticky tack penalties on the defense. Come back and tell me how wrong I was after the game.
