It's also funny Pete used basketball analogies all the time but Mike uses baseball but Pete was the metrics guy and Mikes more a feel guy. Just seems backwards to me lol

Great coach! Focused and understands to scheme for each opponent. Last 5 yrs, we never did that. Shanny and McVay could easily exploit our tendencies. For a new regime, Mac is doing well. We shouldn't expect a full game until like week 7. New schemes aren't easy to implement so we should be excited to see this progress. Just max protect on O and blitz devon on D. Go Hawks!

It's really nice watching a head coach press conference as a Seahawks fan and actually hearing honest, thoughtful answers. In fact, Mike Mac might be the most thoughtful head coach in the NFL. You can almost see his neurons sparking through his eyes when he pauses to think about questions he's asked. Pausing and thinking before speaking is a quality everyone should aspire to these days.

I think there are enough reasons to believe the Seahawks are as good as advertised. Seahawks are going into Detroit with a better defense than they had last year, and Mike's defense of the Ravens completely shut down the Lions last year. The Seahawks O line is complete trash, but their offense has overcome adversity multiple times, and has been putting up enough points to win games which is a huge positive. Mike and his coaching staff have the knack to make adjustments throughout games, and figure out their opponents to beat them. I’m not saying the Seahawks get a W against the Lions, but I do really like their chances.

The reporters kept trying abd trying harder to get him to compare our team with his former team and Mike JUST WASN'T HAVING IT! He had to say, two or three times that there IS "NO WAY TO DO THAT"! They are two different teams on two different fields at two different times. I LOVED IT when he said, " I don't want to ..like .. speculate into their brains.." GREAT ANSWER MIKE, great answer!! Our team, from what I'm seeing, and our new coach, have always thought the same way. ..And that is about the HERE and the NOW! What WAS is gone. What SHALL BE, cannot be known. All we have is this place... which is HERE. And all we have is this moment in time, which is NOW. Nothing else matters. Lessons WILL be repeated until they are learned. From what I've seen, albeit 3 weeks, not all lessons are having to be repeated!! To me that means the Seahawks have their minds set on the right track....baby🎶💚💙💚

He started saying and listing things I've never heard a coach say before (pete) at a press conference. How do I know it was a great interview? Because I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND MOST OF WHAT HE SAID!!🤣😂* He listed so many options and plays and possibilities about the Lions that I dont even think, THEY KNOW about themselves! He is just SO ON TOP OF EVERYTHING!! I'm beginning to see how and why he's such an amazing and brilliant coach and why our team is flourishing the way they are!!! He knows what our guys NEED TO KNOW so they can kick ass!! He named SOOO many of THEIR players and plays and their play history!! These are things I NEVER heard before..Most of the last few years, we would just get a pep talk about why we lost and how we were "going to do better next time!" Russell would do the same thing. When Mike is asked a question, he stops and pauses. He thinks about the questions before he answers them, and then when he answers them, he speaks like a real human being. He DOESN'T sound like a Tony Robinson motivational seminar! Coach Mike is so honest and serious about his team... YES!! I said it...HIS team! He already knows our players SO WELL?
