To do this in one take with no chart is insane. Also, the levels and dynamics sound amazing! Seen lots of these auditions and there great but you can tell that most are coming from specifically metal. It’s awesome to see someone who knows Primus is so much more🤘🏻

I'm a drummer myself. Been checking out a few of these Primus audition videos. This dude pretty much have all the boxes checked. The difference in this video is that you can tell he feels the music, enjoys playing it and the kit is also proper for the music.

I’ve watched a bunch of these videos and everyone either looked like they were kind of struggling or didn’t have the Primus sound. This guy has the sound and no struggle at all. Definitely the best so far if this is a route Primus is considering to find the next drummer.

Most are simply playing the songs. This is actually a great audition. The only criticism I can give is that you could actually HIT the drums a little harder....just a bit more force in it. Best one I've seen though.

Talked drums with you years ago from here in Halifax, NS. Recall you being a very cool, laid back dude. I knew you were supersonic fast - but now I know that you have a truck load of skills and a very deep groove. I don't know Primus past the hits, but you just made more of a fan outta me. The only small thing that might have been better is a really cutting bell on your ride - but that's just my guess as to the Primus sound, based on Winona's BBB, etc. That was absolutely fantastic!! Would love to hear what you would create in the future with your skills in the mix with their very unique sound. All the best!
