Mike Mahaney Wins First EVER Super DIRTcar Series Victory!

I don't subscribe to any pay site because I am a disabled 70yr old former upstate NYer on SS. I did not know who won until today when you added this video. Mandee, I cried watching this win. Your videos make it like I can still see my favorite racing series ever. Untill 2001 I had never missed a race at AS on fridays and Fonda or LV on saturdays. You n Mike n the whole crew make me feel like I did when I was working on various race cars at the track. I also never missed a race at Syracuse cept that year it got snowed out. My father and I followed Mike Perrotte when he was racing for the Huttig family. When he retired from racing we were so depressed but knew that one day it was going to come. So when we found out that George & Julie Huttig announced that Mike Mahaney was hired to be the new driver we were super excited. Mike, Mandee and the entire race team are #1 a class act and always do things the right way. #2 this team works extremely hard to race consistently and competitively at every singe race. When Mike crossed the line to the checkers, both my Dad and I were pretty choked up. And to see pure joy and excitement on Mike while on top of the mod as well as his post interview, you couldn’t help but be super happy for him and the team. We were so happy we could be there in person to see this !!!! #35 team fans for life !!!!

Freaking awesome! The 44 threw everything at Mike and he beat him. Great reactions in the pits and from the fans in the stands, they all enjoyed watching 2 of the best try everything to win. You could tell by the way Mike was driving tonight that he really wanted to win this race and was absolutely determined to do so. I've watched quite a few of these videos and this one was the first time I felt that Mike REALLY wanted to win. He pushed himself and the car all the way and in a manner I'd never seen before tonight. I've seen him race with the number 44 car several times and I believe that car may be faster than Mike's car, but it didn't matter tonight because Mike WANTED that win...and he got it! Congratulations from a long time fan of dirt track racing out here in California! Well done!! I look forward to seeing many more races just like it and with the same result!!

What an awesome win!!!🏁 The last 10 laps of that race had me chewing my fingernails to the bone!!! My emotions got the best of me when Mike took that checkered flag. I needed a half chopped onion to blame my tears on, but didn't have one handy! 🧅 All that hard work, dedication, and "can do" attitude has paid off...in a BIG way!!! This is only the beginning!!!!
