The Best live music venue in NYC in 70's I saw this band ans many other great lineups at 7th Avenue South I watched Steve Gadd Will Lee zHiram Bullock Steve Jordan Dave Spinoza Don Grolznic Chuck Rainey and of course the owners The Brecker Brothers Chris Palmero Mike Lawrence man it was the greatest club for great music ever Everybody played there .Some my greatest memories

I've had this on laser disc for a long time. Most of these tunes would show up edited on "The Jazz Life" and on the CD in edited form also. Great music.

Beautiful music. I'm only familiar with Omar. It's quite cool to see upright bass in a jazz fusion band. Another thing I didn't know is... Omar played gretsch drums. Every other time I've seen any kind of video footage of him he's playing pearl drums.
