McCarthy actually has more career wins than Pete Carroll, Sean Payton, and John Harbaugh while having a .600 career regular season win percentage and while having a .500 career playoff win percentage - a mark held by Carroll and Payton. People automatically want to put Carroll and Payton into the HOF - maybe Harbaugh, but no one wants to give him credit. Don’t worry. Jason Garrett is always available.

I’m a die hard Saints fan and I can tell you that there were plenty big time losses in the Sean Payton era. 2010 beast quake game, 2011 against Jim Harbaugh’s 49ers, 2019 against the Vikings in the divisional round come to mind easily.

When comparing Mike to Sean let's not forget that Sean had Brees consistently, while Mike delt with is Brett staying or leaving all the time, and Rogers being the d-bag he is. Sean only won one championship like Mike, but Mike didn't get suspended for cheating to get his. Mike had Dak who is no better than Taysom Hill or Jameis Winston. Mike had his bad playcalls and time management at times, but Sean wouldn't have won in Dallas and that why he left and never came back, he knows Jones's make it impossible. Shotty is one of the worst hires in NFL history and a joke to the Dallas fanbase. Might as well see if Dave Campo wants another try at it.
