MIKE MEN of Trinidad

In the tiny caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago there's a community of indians known as the MIKE MEN. They are a group of males cultishly devoted to automobile borne-amplification. Each of their cars has two enormous air raid warning megaphones attached to its roof. Originally created to bring music to indian weddings, currently they also stage weekly playoffs wherein they pit their soundsystems against each other, blasting what they call back-in-time music: Indian oldies and Bollywood playback songs from the 50's and the 60's from 78 records.
"Mike Men" wants to portray this community of addicts to vintage music. We will follow their Sunday battles, inspired by the Jamaican Dancehall clashes and the early hip-hop soundsystem battles in the bronx. And we will look closer to their daily life, their motivations to go on with such addiction and its consequences at a personal level.

@greenlum The name is "Brotherhood on the Boat (Jahaji Bahi) originally released in 1996, there were several versions of the song, I think the original was by Brother Marvin. Anyway, if I had to guess, this is Sundar Popo's version.
