the problem with the bench is they aren't a catch and shoot bench. They play at their best when the ball's moving, players cutting, high energy and pace, doc needs a regular "rotation" so guys know their role and strategy....to much of a contrast of styles, harden shouldn't be on the floor with the bench, let maxey run that group, keep Harden's minutes down that might be why he struggles later in games, he's gassed, he's nowhere close to being a spring chicken these days, he's at the end of his prime years, he was never a "workout warrior" type, his minutes shouldn't be over 30 a game, help him close out games better and the bench could be more effective, dare i say maybe even a "change of pace" this team needs, it needs something and it's not the old guys off the bench, dont understand why doc wont play young guys

Harden is playing hurt; hamstring injury is legit imo. and lack of conditioning has prolly delayed getting recovered. so, Harden isn't much of help, especially now that he's gone back to iso / ball dominant player, it disrupts the sixers' chemistry even more. Harden wasn't playing like this in his first few games; he wasn't ball dominant, or holding the ball too long like he's doing now. there is something, that shows why Harden has gone to back to his old self. bottomline is, Harden is doing more harm than good. right now, injured Harden isn't much use to sixers, unless he plays the conventional point guard and let Embiid carry the team. Harden is still lethal shooter, if he's willing. and until he can fully recover, maybe Harden should play as passer and shooter for Embiid.

Philly fans are completely delusional and clearly didn't do their homework prior to the trade! Prior to the trade, Harden was a train wreck on the Nets averaging 41% FG, 31% 3pt and 5 turnovers a game while being a liability on defense....and oh walks the ball up the court all the time like and old man with no pace then runs out the spot clock and does a dumb step-back that he almos always bricks. His entire offensive game is dependent on flopping and getting calls from the refs. The real joke is if Philly is dumb enough to sign him for a supermax in the off season!! 🤣🤣🤣

The first 3 games with Harden, Maxey was catch and shoot and we were winning. But Doc talking the ball away from him and giving it to no energetic Harris for catch and shoot. Harris hit 3-10 and our offensive rhythm is gone. Maxey needs to shoot more than 15 times for us to win. But then Doc can't make Tobias look good for his 19 points on 50 attempts.

Come on guys, I don't believe that any of you believe that Harden is "saving it for the playoffs". I think it's a combo of 1, 2 and 4, which is chronic hamstring issue which will lead to Harden loosing a step and being pedestrian. Number 4, which is reverting back into his default mode which is pounding the air out of the basketball, which as Ty said is "Harden ball" . The rub is he doesn't have the lift in his legs anymore to draw fouls and finish at the rim because of his hammy issue. It's obvious to me he's not feelin Doc at all and this may be his way of getting Doc out. My two cents is they need to get Harden and his clown show up out of there, stat! Before this trade that had a good team, not a championship team but good. Great Chemistry, the guys loved playing with each other. Morey needs to be held accountable for this BS trade. He could have sent Simmons out west to Sac for Haliburton and Heild with draft picks for Ben. They keep Curry and Dre and then hopefully get Beal in the off season. Amazing shit from Daryl Morey.

I'm going to say this, It's not all Doc's fault and I'm going to break it down. Before the trade sending Andre and Seth to Brooklyn for that fraud the Sixers were never like this, they were winning games and the chemistry was awesome. It shifted when the fraud came here to Philly and ruined the chemistry by missing big games (Heat twice) partying and getting drunk etc. Who sits at the post-game interview with sunglasses on? He yells at the players GET THE BALL! and WHEN YOU ARE OPEN, SHOOT THE BALL! they are not used to that. Doc doesn't like James because of the trade, he disagrees with it but Doc has to stop being a yes man. Daryl Morey is to blame for believing in some of these KZbinrs and other platforms for suggesting that this man should be here. James changed when New York lifted the mandate where Kyrie can play home and away, he now feels like he made a mistake coming here and now he's missing shots he can make, and you can see it. And he's saying to himself, I can't gain weight because he knows that everybody knows about gaining weight when he's unhappy so what does he do? He misses foul shots, and threes, and he and Doc had words. He's throwing games so Doc can get fired he's making it look like it's a team loss when it's him. They have to get rid of this toxicity in the off-season. He has a habit of being in a trade package of getting rid of good players from Brooklyn so he could play in Brooklyn and now the sixers, that's why CP3 doesn't like him or Daryl because they ruin everything. Why do you think CP3 or Rondo didn't want to play in Philly with the Sixers? because of blown leads and Daryl Morey. He didn't blow that many leads when Andre and Seth were here he was consistent. Doc has to get back to what he did at the beginning of the season and that's practice NOT Shootaround. They need cardio, running, and suicide playing against each other at the beginning of the season. Doc is upset about Seth and Andre being traded and James is not helping because he doesn't like Doc and he's probably saying something to Daryl. James is an unhappy person and you can see it. Can you undo a trade and send him and Milsap back to Brooklyn and get Simmons, Andre, and Seth back, not for Simmons to stay but to trade him and De'Andre Jordan for Beal? it's just a question, what happened to Phil Beckner? he helped the Sixers create spacing and help them play well together? People saying that Joel needed help and they can't win a championship with Seth and Andre and that's a lie with Phil Beckner they played amazing. They just needed and I agree with Joel, that the team was fine they didn't need a trade just get Beal. They should have waited till the offseason for the trade. I don't see them winning in the playoffs because the fraud is trying to get rid of Doc and he doesn't want to be there, Tyrese sleep, eats, and drink basketball to be the best, this fraud takes him and Niang to a club in Miami but he didn't play? See how he's trying to contaminate Tyrese and Niang they lost that game and Tyrese and Nang was off THANKS JAMES HARDEN GET RID OF THIS CONTAMINATED PERSON! www.yahoo.com/sports/report-harden-told-durant-last-222053738.html

Between 4 GMs who have traded assets like candy and the drafts were even worse before Morey. They lucked into Joel and had 2 freaking 2 #1 picks and blew both. This is a mess. The team was actually beating good teams before trade. Joel wasn't looking for foul calls all the time since JH. JH is cooked. He has 1 good game a week and it seems like he doesn't care. James Harden is not and will not be the solution to the 76ers problems, rather he is part of problem. What Doc needs to do is sits Harden down alone by himself and show him the tapes of how championship ballclubs win games. 76ers are better when the ball moves around. There are five players on the court so why is Harden not moving the ball around and holding the ball as if he was the only player on the court? The 76ers must sit down as a ball club and watch how the Suns play. They move the ball around to where every player touches the ball. TELL HARDEN HE CANNOT JUST HOLD THE BALL TO HIMSELF. He must move the ball around and every player must move around not stand around like a statue. JOEL cannot do it by himself because he seems to be one player against five of the other teams every night. 76ers may need to start using James as a bench player and have another as the point guard.

If Morey gives this guy that 240million dollar extension he needs to be shipped to Siberia seriously I knew it Moreys obsession with Harden was the Sixers downfall 🤦🏾♂️

I’ll say it again two words Doc Rivers. This guy just lets the inmates run the asylum. He probably asks the players what should be done. Does he even own one of those white boards ? Draw up a play maybe during a timeout. Make some in game adjustments ? Rotations ? Never saw a team call a time out and be completely clueless right after. That’s coaching. Leaves guys out there when there dead tired with the lead or without. He’s gonna burn Embid out just like last year. I think Doc was more responsible than Simmons for that Atlanta loss. He’s gotta go after this years 2nd round oust.

I really believe Doc Rivers quit on the team and the team quit on him. Doc see the hand writing on the wall as far as his job. And the sixers bench is losing these games period! It seems like Doc has the bench just to go in and play defense!

The 76ers Can't score against a zone with ball pressure, they give up easy transition baskets, and they're too slow too rotate on defense.

yall need to point out maxey has came down to earth. n his defense is atrocious!!! n Doc ain't shit!!!

To me, they are the most unathletic team in the league. They have no one who wants to do the dirty work, like offensive rebounding, for that matter, rebounding at all, boxing out, etc. I definitely think it would be a huge mistake to sign Harden to a huge contract. They definitely need some tough, lengthy, athletic players!! Doc needs to go also.

I agree. But what do you do with Harden now?

@@johnsondoeboy2772 I honestly don't know. But Morey really likes him, that scares me.

Doc is having a tuff time figuring out the right rotation,he’s definitely got to bring maxey off the bench and give Tobias more minutes when harden& embiid go out,he need the right mesh of players off the bench that can help defensively when maxey&tobias are out there. What gets me is they want harden to be aggressive(meaning shoot more?),but the problem is if he is shooting more and ball hogging he’s not making his shots on a consistent basis, night in and night out,but anyway start Danny in place of maxey, and get harden going in the first half and lean on embiid more in 4th quarters.

This is very simple. The Sixers completely screwed up "The Process". And fans need to understand the enabling that goes on by the media that allows the constant incompetent decision making by the front office. Everyone's saying the Sixers fleeced the Nets for Harden when it's quite the opposite. It was foolish to think the Sixers were going to get a superstar caliber player for just Ben Simmons. You sacrificed depth that you need to go on a playoff run for an aging big superstar. You however could've traded Simmons for more bench help which is all the Sixers really needed. Harden will do what he does and want out of here after one more season and Embiid will soon realize the negligence by this front office and will want out within 3 more seasons. The Sixers will have basically wasted 10 years never making out of the second round of the playoffs. And by the way, Glen Rivers.... Horrible coaching hire. Should've been fired after last season's loss to the Hawks.

The roster construction and bench is bad and the coach is terrible. Harden's not what he used to be but a well rounded out roster and decent coach around Harden and Embiid can get it done. We traded a 30 million dollar black hole to get James, we weren't getting Kawhi Leonard. We just need him to be the Robin to Embiid's Batman, so his numbers aren't that bad from that perspective. Let's not forget we're still 11-5 with Harden and were beating the Suns and Bucks before Rivers pulled his same old bs late in each game. Harden went off for 32 points and 9 assists against the Bucks while Rivers stood there with his hands on his hips while watching Millsap get burnt by Giannis for 15 straight points. Harden's not MVP Harden but him and Embiid can run pnr together and then you can surround them with shooters. They've been very hard to stop in pnr at times but they get away from it because the coach is a vegetable who seems like he's just here to pick up a check and no one in the media holds him accountable. Idk if Harden was the move to make or the guy to pair with Embiid going forward but its time for the attention to be directed to the same coach who's teams always meltdown at the end of the year regardless of who he has playing for him. People think we weren't having these kind of performances when Drummond and Curry were still here? They've always played down to competition and they've always been terrible at closing games. Joel basically hero-balled us to the 3 seed before we traded for Harden.

Harden is aging fast, nothing to do with an injury, he game is predictable dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble fake and drive or step back. They would have been better to trade for Haliburton and keep Drummond and Curry in the process. They would have gave up Ben and the picks. Huge huge huge mistake. because if the Harden trade flops Embiid will not win and championship in Philly.
