Never realised how good they were back in the 1970's. Here's hoping that each one of those sweet ladies has had as much joy in their lives as they brought us.

This is pure talent! To think Mike played almost every instrument on this recording is mind blowing. Amazing song. Mike Oldfield you’re a legend

Mike just did keyboard and guitars.. all be it fabulously - plus produced. What we call a Mike Oldfield record is a combination effort.

I remember watching this on TOTP on 1 January 1976, enjoying the routine and believing that the new year would be much better than 1975. And indeed it was!

I would have been just five and attending infant school a few months. Theme tune is in C major with a lilting time signature of 6/8 (has extra notes and a slightly different rhythm to the original). I am 53 in June!

Just joking Silver - they were okay in the 70s - looking at it from today's perspective though, watching them makes me cringe for quite a few reasons, especially when I read some of the comments on here from some men.

I was around in the 70s in the UK, but not old enough to understand or remember that period. Born 1970 - so heard of this second hand. In Dulci Jubilo I encountered some years later, with the time signature of 6/8 and key of C major. The rhythm is slightly different and there are extra notes than the original.

Christmas of 75. The Christmas No 1 of that year was Bohemian Rhapsody Queen. I remember listening to a Radio One interview with Freddy Mercury in Oct and he said the song would either be massive or sink without a trace. ( Boh Rhapsody not Mike O)
