That is odd. There are plenty of songs with same names. They cannot force you to rename a song you made. Perhaps the management is just trying to scare people off?

To be fair we left the video up and I’ve just checked it’s still there .. I imagine it hit some sort of algorithm and flagged it .. song is completely different and they never followed it up . Our view count was so low I doubt it was a major concern 😂

Mike Oldfield was the reason as a child I decided I wanted to become a musician! I did a video a couple of years ago breaking down the original multitracks for Tubular Bells (the original) but I was already a fan of Cara Dillon when she appeared on Tubular Bells 3 and it was quite a surprise. She really is part of a Folk dynasty with The Lakeman brothers over here in the UK (and Ireland where she is from). What I don't understand is why did they need to send out a cassette of what was guaranteed to be another highly anticipated Mike Oldfield album anyway? Weird?

They two songs are recorded in the same style and sound, and they were originally written around the same time, but MITR wasn't recorded until around a decade later - and now with some very personal lyrics from MO ( My guess is that it is about himself and his divorce from his Norwegian wife Anita Hegerland (?)), which are then of course not the original lyrics. The two tunes are not the "same" either, as some people like to claim, but they are sort of connected - one influenced by the other.

Cara Dillon is a wonderful singer with a sweet crystalline voice. The album you forgot the name of is her second solo one "Sweet Liberty" from 2003 which is a fantastic collection of reworked traditional songs and some of her own. This track is from 1998 around the time she was in a group named Equation alongside her future husband Sam Lakeman and while it is fairly good it's certainly no Moonlight Shadow and it certainly isn't the best example of her vocal abilities.

"Cara" was chosen most likely as Maggie was not called up for the gig for whatever the reason. Almost identical sounding styles . Not much in it really. This demo is fairly close to the finished product.
