One of my father's favourites, he passed away 3 days ago. I remember how I couldn't sleep at 11pm because he listened to it on full volume and I was so annoyed. Now i would give the world to be there again. People, Appreciate every moment you have with your loved ones and let them know you love them, no matter what. There is no guarantee of tomorrow with them.

@@snarskistomas There is so much music being released by so many different people at different levels of creativity and talent and hard work, most of it probably goes under the radar and will be revealed when the world decides it's ready. I don't understand why people like you constantly comment on music so generally. People from the generations of music before the 70s and 80s would probably say the same thing ABOUT those eras and of course they'd be wrong and everyone would see how they are just stuck reminiscing on better times, but no it makes you look like more of an OG to say the 70s, 80s, and 90s were just inherently better for "meaningful messages" which blatantly isn't true.

My dad used to love mike oldfield. He was always excited to hear him. He had every album. But unfortunately he was never able to go to one of his concerts. When he introduced me to these beautiful songs i was as amazed as my dad was. I will always remember you dad. I love you. You died 2 weeks ago with your greatest passion. Ennek a számnak volt egy ráadás része aminek pont 11-kor vagy 10-kor lett vége ha jól emlékszem. Annyira nem kötődöm a zenéhez de ez szerintem aki jelentősen kötődik bármely hangszer használata iránt... Annak ezt tudom javasolni ezek igazi példaképek. Szerintem. :D

My dad used to play this song in the car when we would go for late night drives. Watching the sky while listening to this song(not the exact same one a version of it) made me always wonder what's out there in the universe. I somehow link this song to extraterrestrial life and like looking out at the sky while I slip into a trance thinking about the unknown.

If anyone told me in the '70s that I would still follow him into eternity in 2020....I would have laughed in their face, but at 72 yrs. old I still have every single album and CD he ever made, and still enjoy them all! This was such an amazing experience listening to this song, I had tears in my eyes and was blown away by it. I kept asking myself where will he take me. He's a genius and it's a shame I haven't heard this song earlier. I know Mike Oldfield and loved moonlight shadow, pictures in the dark and shadow on wall etc. But this one I missed. I am so stunned and happy to have found it!

My dad was kind of a mentor to me in the music world. He would use to listen to this exact live version on the living room couch with a glass of whiskey. He did not know much about music but this song pleased him. This song is a core memory of my relationship with my dad and really appreciate that. Like most of the people here, my father’s refined musical taste allowed me to value the pristine beauty of Oldfield music. Many years later i am enjoying this while feeling out of this world.. My uncle is a plastic artist and admires Mike Olfield although I must confess that when he drinks he puts the whole concert of Tubullar Bells and I must confess that I am left with my mouth open when listening to him for the first time the sound of the bells is magic.
