Some people really like to point out the mistakes made by the players. I actually like seeing mistakes here and there; they remind me that the music could all fall apart at any moment and that it takes talent and persistence to keep it together. I want to be reminded that DT, in all their glory, were not robots or windup dolls. They are fallible and that makes it even more exciting when they DO keep it together.

DT will always be my favorite progressive metal group. However, creative differences and knocking heads are as old as time itself. Mike did what he felt he needed to do, and would most likely do it again. Knowing Mike, John, and Jordan professionally, I would give educated speculation that after things quietly 'blew up' between them, there was no going back. Mike would have been at home with a change into AX7, but it was not to be, much to his surprise. Mike's working with Derek again right now.
