I know this will just be a random comment on this video, but I just wanted to put it out there. This era of mike Posner saved me, as cheesy as that sounds.. I was addicted to drugs living in shelters and peoples houses who I would pay in drugs , I was listening to mike on shuffle one night , and this song came on then live before I die , and I burst into an uncontrollable panic that I was wasting my life , for the next 4 years I have hustled my way up to running a business and helping others with recovery. Last month marked my 3.5 half years sober , and I still attribute all my positive changes to these songs.

This song and “I took a pill in Ibiza “ made me cry like a hormonal pregnant woman for nearly three hours, the first day I discovered those 2 songs. I listened to them over and over and over... Until my husband came home from work and I put on a happy face again. Lol. Those 2 songs and his song “Move On” are my top 3 favorite of his so far, and probably will be top 3 all time favorites of his. He’s sooooo amazing it’s crazy.

But then there's this song, reminding me I shouldn't care. That there's as much good in me as there are my mistakes, and that I'm fine how I am. Thank you, Mike posner!

This beautiful music video of Mike Posner really carries a huge message for folks all around the world. Many young people nowadays suffer from mental health issues such as depression, comparing themselves to others, low self-esteem, needless desire to be seen and noted. And all of these problems come from social networks as they want us to be perfect, post only our good photos and always compare our life with others. So, we lose our true selves and become vulnerable. As Mike says us, let's be who we really are. Let's quit Instagram, Facebook or whatever you use to spend your precious time on trying to be someone else. Instead, let's find ourselves, live a full life and be happy! For the past 2 years, I quitted Facebook and VK, and about a month I don't use Instagram. And you know what? I am really grateful for myself to this decision and more than ever satisfied with myself. I can now focus not on someone's life but my own and things that matter to me. I spend my free time on sports and to my family which I wouldn't probably do when I'm just surfing the internet. So, guys, I really hope we can avoid the stress that we face every day by the social network and be ourselves. Happy to share my experience and idea with you, and thanks for Mike for such a great message!

How?? Seriously how?? This song came out in 2015 and only one million views? The best decision I ever made was slowing down, building up my self worth and truly understanding happiness/appreciation for everything in life. I’m not successful yet, but even in failure Im happier than most around me. Its a really sad time to see so many people who are prisoners of todays society, not understanding whats causing them to feel worthless. Pushing your mind to think more positive every day, putting yourself in other peoples shoes when all you can think about are your own issues, and going to sleep truly thankful for everything you were blessed with that day will change your life. Its like going to the gym for your brain/soul. But people only care about instant or visual results in todays world (money, cars, muscles, followers). All thats good, but without the right mindset, its worthless.
