I have been in that position you're in. For me travel helped. I went places I didn't know with nothing but doom and gloom in my head. I sat in a crappy hotel room in Prague in the worst frame of mind possible and felt what I can only describe as the sensation of hands on my shoulders squeezing. I don't believe in afterlife usually and I'm in no way religious but something happened in that room and that was a turning point where I realised I'm too busy worrying about what I've lost that I forgot what I had and have back home. I guess I'm saying find your thing like mines was travel/photography. My dad wouldn't want me suffering and I'm sure yours wouldn't too. I kinda seen it as my old man wasn't suffering anymore even though it's tough without them you'll soon realise how much you are like your dad. Keep your chin up
