26:14 Well for the actual fight animation, Eggman needs the Phantom Ruby to go into, which Bowser destroyed early on. Plus like they said during the Eggman analysis, it takes a long time to actually do. Another factor is they don't got a endless budget, so they can't go literally everything these characters have for the animation or else it would last a while.

Eggman has many phantom rubies. Bowser has no control and attacks indiscriminately surring furry, his own son had to get mario to stop him yet that is ignored, so fairly we can ignore the chargeup or even more reasonably. Eggman had it precharged and just didn't expect to need to use it until late in the fight. Overall, I love the animation its well made. But honestly both characters are lowballed, eggman way more so tho.

It's worth noting that apparently Moro, the fight's animator, believes that in a TRUE 1v1 of Bowser vs Metal Sonic (Which is the kind of scenario where Bowser is at his weakest, mind you), Metal has enough OP stuff on his side to win since he can easily keep the pressure up on Bowser before Bowser can bust out anything really strong, but unfortunately, in a situation like this, Eggman's army, while definitely deadlier, is not well equipped to support its heavy hitters (like metal) when they most need backup, meaning he's kinda forced to do all the heavy lifting, which, given super forms in sonic lore tend to have time-limiting factors, means he simply can't clear all the fodder Bowser has fast enough before running outta juice. Bowser, on the other hand, is actively backed up by, and supported by, his army, so that when the big guy steps up to do some damage, someone else has either distracted, or diverted something that would have slowed him down. Additionally, Bowser, unlike Eggman, doesn't NEED to tell people to tank a hit for him, so the occurrence is faster and much more reactive than if Eggman ordered someone to do it. His forces do this for him because they KNOW he's willing to do the same for them. Army is, unironically, the single most impactful factor in this fight because without his army Bowser would actually struggle getting the chance to use his most powerful stuff. It's also why he loses to Mario so often, the dude literally spends whole games taking out anyone that could back up Bowser prior to a final showdown so it's as close to a 1v1 as possible.

It's a little funny how many casual fans kept touting Metal Sonic and the Eggman Empire as a huge advantage as if Army wasn’t one of Bowser's biggest advantages. Without his generals he would've had a much harder time winning, but he'd still win. I'm not sure why, but a handful of reactors think it's the other way around when it comes to armies vs 1v1. This was a fun reaction to watch, i appreciate being willing to take it all in, including the explanation. Those are always the best DB videos

The Metal Virus isn't from the Archie Comics its from the IDW Comics which are cannon to the games the Archie Comics are not cannon to the games plus this fight was all animated by one person called Moro and he made those alternate scenarios himself.
