Barry Windham is one of my All time favorites. He is so effortless and smooth in the ring. Amazing performer. Barry you'll never know this but decades ago in a wrestling magazine you mentioned the importance of breathing control while being active and I never forgot it. Thank you for the years of entertainment. You are one of the best to ever do it.

When I was a young man I remember Barry's dad,Black Jack Mulligan here in Indianapolis. He was so much bigger the the rest . Only the Big Cat Ernie Ladd was as big. He tagged team against Dick the Busier and they are some of the best matches I can remember. I'm 65 and my older sister and younger brother would go with our uncle Donny and great grandpa Jones. Great times

Barry was and has remained one of my favorites ever, and I discovered him late, in 1992. He was just so good. And I always enjoyed Rotunda's work. I was somewhat disappointed when he couldn't make a scheduled autograph signing, even though he was a heel. They replaced him with Tatanka who was cool as well, but I was looking forward to seeing Mike, especially because of his history in the US Express. I did check the results and Mike and Barry were on the show when Dr. D smacked that jabroni. Whether or not they were in the vicinity is another matter, but they were on the show.

Barry Windham was there that night of the Schultz slap. John Stossel mentioned how the card was running late, so Vince told Barry to make his match against Mr. Fuji quick. Barry beat Mr. Fuji via a bulldog in less than a half-minute.

As a young kid I was at the house show in the 80s in Philly where Windham and Rotunda lost the tag titles to the Dream team...back then Vince would change titles at house shows so fans would believe anything could happen and all the houses had local cable broadcasts of the show so Vince could replay the footage on WWF tv... That's never something that would happen years after as Vince eventually wanted top production for everything he puts on tv and the game changed as house shows are supplemental profit now and tv is everything. Back then it was all about the live gate

Congratulations to Barry and Mike on their long overdue WWE Hall of Fame induction as a team. Barry Windham in my opinion is one of the 10 best wrestlers of all time. He was also one of the most underappreciated. I don't know what the booking committee was thinking not making Barry Windham the NWA world champion , but yet they made Ronnie Garvin the NWA world champion. And he was one of the worst world champions ever. Barry's heel turn on Lex Luger was the most shocking and my favorite one of all time and even though Barry was the U.S champion once, his title reign was so dominant, plus he was a horseman his U.S title reign was my favorite of all time. And it must be stated that Mike was one half of 2 Hall of Fame tag teams in the WWE, the other one was with Ted DiBiase.
@Provos77779 ай бұрын
Barry is one of my favorite as well. Barry would have been but he jumped ship in ‘88 or ‘89 to WWF. He had a brief run in WWF but ended up quitting. I think Barry was flaky and thought to be unreliable. Vince always gave him stupid gimmicks in WWF, I would have loved to have seen a Barry Windham vs Undertaker feud or Bret Hart vs Barry Windham feud.
@barrywilliamsjr53909 ай бұрын
@@Provos7777 Barry went to the WWF in 1989 shortly after losing the U.S title at the Chi town heat pay per view and had a brief and forgetful run in the WWF because for some bizarre reason, the booking committee didn't bring him in as Barry Windham but as " The Widowmaker" so I don't blame Barry for quitting and going back to WCW in 1990 to rejoin the 4 horseman.

Mike looks like he’s got him a big ole chaw in.lol I mean chewing tobacco. It’s still hard for me to believe Windham Rotunda aka Bray Wyatt is not with us anymore. That really is very sad to me. I just feel for the entire family.🙏🏻 In my humble opinion. The original Bray Wyatt that came out of NXT. The cult leader type gimmick. It was a thing to be hold. I felt Bray was getting back to that. And, he would have had a long tenure in the business. I don’t know about other fans. But, just based on what Bray originally accomplished and the success he had. He was/is one of the greatest of all times. Rest in peace Bray

I luv Barry Windham....guy could work his ass off! My only issue with this is that the US Express with this combo didn't last a year in WWE but Demolition was the longest reigning tag champs until WWE decided to go with the bullshit equity, diversity and inclusion nonsense and made The New Day the longest champs. Demolition deserved to be in HOF years ago and that's how you know it a bullshit thing. Any time elites do the picking and choosing it's never a good thing.
