Kings avenue is a great shop. I'm in the middle of a project working on a sleeve (Jason June) at the NYC shop. Definitely a place to go, all their work is amazing.

Went to school with Mike and he was an artist already this dude can draw his ass off . He was a beast in art class he could do anything. But he was into sports in high school.
@wackeyweber6 жыл бұрын
His place has an almost dentistry type vibe and i kinda like it. As someone with 0 tattoos and nervous about getting into it, I think a vibe like that comes across as professional and would make getting into the idea of getting tattooed a little more accessible.

Most shops nowadays are like that. Obviously not the caliber of mike and his guys, but most legit shops are sterile and classy

Too many people try and find a reason for getting a tattoo and it having to have some sort of meaning when i think simply just enjoying the art work is good enough.

People tend to get the tattoo they deserve, whether or not they actually try to.

Asian tradition and culture is as much a part of human culture and history as eating with forks, wearing jeans, and the atomic bomb. Every person on this planet is human, and as such I believe that each person should be allowed to appreciate and respect art as the piece of human tradition it is. To say "This is Asian culture and should only be worn by Asians," Is very narrow minded thinking. Last time I checked, Asian are humans. And as a human I'm getting a Japanese tattoo.
