Definitely want the exhaust out away from the car . Sounds great ! That engine has some snot to it . I can see the body rocking with the torque of the engine on revs & releases . Lol . It will be nice to see this one hit the road again , after so long apart & in pieces . It is going to be a sharp looking car when it is completely done . Nice job , guys ! All hands on deck moment . the exhaust sounds great. it might look cleaner if you have the tailpipe kick up to follow the curve of the frame and exit in the same area, just a bit closer to the body. keep up the great work

I also make my own exhaust systems with mandrel pre-bends, cheap and easy aaand I put the glaspaks at the ends for that satisfying back chatter sound. Kinda fun actually.

Yes, it sounds just fine. The important thing is that it is structurally sound, and won't fall into the pile of pieces you started out with, Mike. Keeping family members safe in your car is important thing #1! Do document your child's first ride in daddy's hot rod and show it to us.

Good job Matt. I was a little surprised you didn't cut & burn in some reinforcements around those frame openings. The one on the passenger side was pretty big. Someday you guys are gonna smear some encapsulator or at least paint over that undercarriage right ? What happen to the hair Mike ? Flaming backfire through a carb ?

I enjoy the work you guys do! I have at times, with great disappointment watched the individual in Nova Scotia,Canada . I personally have a ‘66 C-20 Pick-Up, that I have had for 44 years! It looks , and runs great, used to run it twice a year at the ANTIQUE DRAGS at Carlsbad Raceway. I have a ‘64 Cutlass, which is my “race car” , and yes I run it at Borona Dragstrip .
