I love seeing Mike being happy and smiling. He loves the music he created and he is passionate about it also. The Rising Tied has a grimy Underground Hip-Hop atmosphere, and it went gold and platinum. His iconic song, Remember the Name, went multi-platinum. It shows how a lot of people in this world felt connected to the album, and I’m glad it is one of the albums I love listening to it.

I didn't know about Fort Minor until maybe like one year after it's release and I had took the day off work where the shop buys and sells games, CDs etc, and i came in the next day and someone came to the counter with the FM CD that must have been traded in on my day off, and told me who it was, and I was absolutely gutted!! I bought it twice since then because i found that deluxe version, it's in a wrapper to stop it from getting caught and damaged, it's pretty fragile.

I listened to this album *constantly* when I was like 15-16. Really helped me through a whole lot that I was going through at the time. It was years later, of course, this album's about the same age as my younger sibling. But it's one of those rap/hip hop albums I've held on to because to me it really speaks the truth about certain things and it definitely doesn't pull any punches. Hard to find that in music you find all over these days.
