Had a great weekend racing with the Classic Club at Croft - invited to race Col Morris' VFR400.
I last raced one in anger back 1992, when I won the British Supersport 400cc championship.
To be honest, it was just like slipping on a pair of comfy shoes, I hope you won't get too bored with all the onboard footage...

Heck yeah! Fantastic race. That moment at 11:28 was a bit scary. I wish Honda would bring back the VFR400 and RVF400 like Kawi is doing with the ZX4R

Really four star performance even having to use the clutch to shift at times! I've only been to Croft in the rain so its good value to see you handle it in the dry-ish; I'm noting your apex's on my own track map! I'm still surprised how many riders don't use the whole track so that's where your experience shows in the video. Now 'll have something to watch over the winter along with your other videos nad just hoping the CRMC returns there next year as Croft is a nice little track. Nice braces of Hondas in the team paddock; there's some serious kit there. Well done Mike.

Brilliant stuff, awesome watching a cracking wee bike with an equally cracking rider use it as intended. The comment at the end about the cameraderie was a much needed reminder, inspired me to pull finger and get back into it myself. My project classic racer bike is technically ready to go but keep finding excuses not to front up, need to put my big boy pants on, forget about embarrassment and go have some fun. Thanks!
