Good show. Okay Mike, how about a video of your employees telling us what their favorite knives are?

The Canadian Special 3V is my favourite. I also own a Bush Seax and a Kephart 5 4V and have an Aurora 2 3V on order, but the CS is my favourite. It's the best performing all-rounder out of all of my knives, including the Bark Rivers. The Kephart 5 is ever so slightly better at slicing, and the Bush Seax is ever so slightly better for hard-use tasks and wood processing because of the longer, thicker blade, but the impeccable grind and edge geometry, thickness, superior performance of the 3V, and the handle make it the best knife I own. I absolutely love it. It carves and slices like nothing else. Making feather sticks and carving notches in wood is fun. I don't have many knives that are an absolute joy to use, and the CS brings me the most joy. I pair it with a folding Silky saw and either a big knife or hatchet for chopping and wood processing, and I can do anything.

This is very good marketing. I mean that as a compliment. I haven't as yet ordered a Bark River knife but I sure am beginning to develop an appetite for one and perhaps several. Between Mike Stewart and virtuovice of Japan I can't decide which of them has the strongest influence on me. virtuovice is certainly a strong contender. I find myself more and more poring over the various offerings of Bark River knives and will make a decision before long.

My favorite knife is my Bravo 1, I have it in A2, and 3V, but because my Busse Son of Badger has a small functioning choil, it became my favorite bushcraft knife, they are similar, but I like a choil, I can choke up, or swing long, we all have our preferences.

I see there are two different ways the ultra light bushcrafters are ground. One is a full grind the other is like the one in your hand. Could you or someone comment on the pros and cons of the two different versions? Thanks!

J Dorner I can say what I think they would be better for. The one in his hand the shoulders are lower so splitting wood better and the full grind slicing better? I’m not sure but they both will do either awesome regardless.

How do you not slice your finger open by running it over the blade edge constantly. Are you Chuck Norris?

Say Heah Mike, Yeah, I still love my Bravo 1's both in A2 and 3V Infact I have (3) all ramped. I also have a nice Ghost Green Jade G-10 handle in A2. I have the Woodland, The Bravo 1, Bravo 2 and the Golok. Infact I put two Split Rings in the holes on the Golok Sheath so now I can either Shoulder Carry both Horizontal and or Vertical. Yeah, It's one of my Fav's Summer Long Knife which I can baton it, use it as a draw knife or even as a smaller knife to finish a job. Yeah it's a great building tool even though it l@@ks like a butter knife. That tips a great idea because it doesn't stick into the ground on low chops.,,. p
