The only real legitimate boxer Jake Paul fought was Tommy Fury. With that said. I don’t think Tyson looks anything like his old self. If you watch training vids from his 20s there is no comparison. His foot movement, speed, power, reflexes have slowed down immensely. Tyson also lost 4-5 of his last professional fights and he is 58 yrs old now. What I’m most interested in seeing is if his stamina holds up. This is an intriguing fight though bec Tyson still has 1 punch KO power especially against a KZbin guy with no real professional boxing experience. Koing guys like Ben Askren, and Nate Robinson don’t really count. 😂😂😂😂

hard to imagine jake winning, even though he's younger, tyson is the absolute last 58 year old fighter he should be facing, his game is designed for beating much larger men, jake will be backing up and trying to create distance and that'll wear him out or at least put his stamina on par with tyson's BUT for tyson that shouldn't even be a factor because tyson doesn't need more than a minute to end people, tyson is not a dancing jab artist, he's a kamikaze train tyson will have to totally derail from his game and what he knows in order to lose, he'll have to be fearful and overly cautious and stand flat footed and be on the defense and tyson is not that guy, his game is instinctual at this point, tyson will be slower and jake will have to hope that's enough, jake will want to clinch and put his weight on mike and hope mike doesn't uppercut his head off, jake will be studying that roy jones-tyson tape, I hear tyson wasn't really aiming for the head in that roy jones fight, I don't think it was contractual but more tyson just not wanting to hurt old roy, but when facing a young jake he'll gladly be aiming for the head

All of you and every promoter and the commision are sick for letting this take place. I pray in it gets canceled, nk matter the reason. Throw in the towel if he wont himself. Personally, i think we're going to find out afterwards that someones money wasnt right, and he got pushed into this fight. Bet!
@1920studio10 күн бұрын
One thing you are missing is that technic. His chin is tucked and his hands stay up. This is something that boxing people know is great look. I agree that he is a bit slower but skill set is milessss above Paul. Paul will have that head straight up in the air like he always does because you can’t just learn that in 5 years. This is way more dangerous for Jake because Mike is so much more experienced than him. He can’t make one mistake. Mike will make him pay even while being old and slow. And if Jake cant get to that chin it’s over for him.
@brettelder802310 күн бұрын
@@1920studio Yeah I agree totally. Jake doesn't really know what he is doing in boxing. His legs are all over the place. He is extremely sloppy. Tyson being 58 is the only reason why Jake even has a shot to win this. If the fight is real.....a REAL fight, then I don't see any way Jake Paul can win. His sloppy boxing and leaving his head straight up works great against MMA fighters. Real boxers, much less the former undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the world (Tyson), are just so many levels above Jake Paul. I remember Jake getting hit against Mike Perry and you could tell he didn't like it. We will see if his straight up chin can take a heavyweight punch.
@TheDepersonalization10 күн бұрын
@1920studio you're conflating muscle memory with ability to execute. As an over twenty year veteran of Pro Boxing I can say without a doubt you're grasping at straws.
@TheDepersonalization10 күн бұрын
@brettelder8023 stop tieing your horse to fundamentals being a problem and at least look at Jake's clear gameplan as seen in both their open workouts. Jake has clearly put on unhealthy amounts of weight for speed and endurance, but to what end? Tying up in the clench. Basic guard plus planting his full weight on Mike ala Tyson Fury will quickly have Tyson gassed by round 4 and thereby relieving any real power threat remaining. If personal betting lines were legal I'd gladly take everyone's cash in this comments section over obvious faults rather than wishing upon a star like fanboy groupies.
@brettelder802310 күн бұрын
@@TheDepersonalization We will see won't we? You can go back and watch the Perry fight and watch Jake get clipped. He was scared shitless and wide eyed. Mike Perry doesn't even have close to the power that a 58 year old Tyson still has. If this fight is real, Jake Paul is getting KO'd. That is a big IF. I don't care how much weight and steroids Jake has taken. There are huge differences in the ability to box between these two. In fact, it is years and leagues apart.

God dang Tyson looks old, slow and sluggish... slower than even 4yrs ago vs Roj Jones. Then i was stilll impressed with his speed and power. His slow speed and narrow range of upper body movement, means low force, less power, especially his KO hooks=way less likely to get in range & no power, even less so as he will have to extend & lean. Something he didnt have to do when he had speed, agility, and jab that blinded opponents to the KO hooks etc ***Jacke Paul hides his skills & his punches are much quicker, he worked on his jab, which he is using on several levels and transitions into a power hook. While Tyson is giving 150% to show he can compete, I WOULD LOVE NOTHING MORE THAN FOR TYSON TO KO JAKE, BUT SEEING THIS I WOULD BE HAPPY IF HE MAKES JAKE PAUL LOOK AVERAGE , AND DOESNT GET DROPPED OR KO'D. Casuals have no clue, JUST BECAUSETYSON LOOKS AMAZING FOR ALMOST 60YR OLD, ITS NOT HOW U COMPARE HIS FIGHTING VS A DECENT BOXER IN HIS PRIME.
