@@tcapo514 He can't throw the exact same way as Tyson because of the vstly different builds they have to work with, and the height difference between the punchers and the guy with the vest. Mike lived and breathed what Cus was teaching him at 13 years old. He would drill techniques over and over where at the end of the grind they would become a perfect chain to implement the peekaboo. We would see Mike skipping rope, doing the slip bag, practicing combos thousands of times and sparring constantly, all while in the zone with a humongous fight library while living with one of the greatest minds the sport has ever seen. He was molded from the ground up to be the executioner that he was in the ring. Still to this day his muscle memory is on point. The way he bends his body at the side while getting his feet in position to deliver every punch with bad intentions. I find this entertaining and like Francis as a person, but Tyson was just special. He was once in a billion athlete who ended up meeting a once in a billion mind in Cus. They changed boxing forever and Mike will have the title of youngest HW champ for centuries. I hope people aren't expecting Francis to go in there looking like Mike because that's not going to be the case. He hasn't put near enough hours in to the craft and he doesn't have that fast twitch in his muscles and reflexes like Mike had and still has. I'm more entertained by Tyson helping him out and sharing his knowledge. Cus's system of boxing is heavily taxing on the body and is only going to be effective if the fighter meets those expectations the system calls for. Francis hasn't had enough time to execute it the way it should be but hopefully Tyson can at least correct some mistakes in his striking.

Yea, he's going to forget everything Mike has taught him the second he gets tired or hit hard, then he'll immediately fall back on old habits, he just hasn't trained long enough in this style for it to become second nature. He's going to have to fight like Lennox to have a shot, and I think Fury has the reach advantage on Francis. In my opinion Francis has close to the chance Deontay Wilder had in the first Wilder Fury fight. Fury's style is awkward to defend against and Fury's got a Chess Grandmaster's brain with other worldly patience and steady power regardless of the round. Mike is showing great skill as a trainer by not attempting to make Francis a tall Tyson.

This is Mike getting him use too the one two to head and body, people like you don't know boxing when teaching someone. Get the fundamental striking right then the speed and power comes second and third, don't just go in training blazing throwing punches that not correctly exicuted, because you never learn too through punches correctly. Merticulasley is slow at first then you build up the momentum.
