A young Mike Tyson would have done the same thing to Paul last night as he did here with Biggs in the 80s. Such Lighting Speed! interestingly enough Mike had more muscle on him at age 58 than he did back then! For the first two rounds, he was the old Mike last night. I was just hoping he might catch a KO in the first two or three rounds last night as that was his narrow window at age 58.
@iditarod40815 ай бұрын
The announcers are wrong it's a horrible game plan to jump around you're going to gas out by around 5. Why do they keep saying the best game plan against Mike is to dance around? It's not good advice for anybody just because Ali did it doesn't mean it's right.
@Silent_Observer-203 ай бұрын
It is a good game plan ONLY if your name is Muhammad Ali. Only he could've pulled it through.
@stueystuey1962Ай бұрын
No one including Ali could go toe to toe with Tyson. Most ferocious fighter, not to mention skilled, above average fast hands, and clever, ever. Keep in mind that when Ali danced around, one still had to engage at some point, to win the fight.
@Silent_Observer-20Ай бұрын
@@stueystuey1962 Ali had longer reach and enough stamina to frustrate Tyson. I understand Mike was one of the best when he KO'd Larry Homles. But still Ali would've prevailed. Even if you managed to get through his defense his chin always carried him.
@mr.finger9877Ай бұрын
@@Silent_Observer-20 That's just stupid logic honestly 🤦🏿. I dont get this type of praising for Ali he's not ths creator of "dancing" around in the ring. Tyrell just didn't have the stamina and drive to keep up with the style. Even Buster Douglas used lateral movements and his jab with Tyson and it had great success. It took 7 rounds to knock out Tyrell Biggs.
@mr.finger9877Ай бұрын
It's a great game plan there's many other boxers who danced around in the ring before Ali he doesn't own that way of fighting. They are giving great advice Buster Douglas also used lateral movement and also his jab, you obviously what was the outcome. Tyrell just didn't have the stamina and he was too busy in the ring not conserving his energy. It took 7 rounds to take him out while many others went out earlier.

Thank you This fight represents psychopathic rev3nge on a sociopathic memory... 24:25-you can see that his heart has been ground to dust-a few of those body shots folded him into pieces. His corner has all the vim and vigor: its absurd because he s the one whose fighting and his cornermen have Far more Fire than he does. This says so much. The glowing reviews for the 1st round are overstated. He was nimble and evasive, the jab was there. Taking 3 steps for Tysons every one he has to confound this ratio with either effective punches or countering or both: see, he doesnt have the ring experienc3 to adjust, hes accclimated to being larger and dominating from an athletic standpoint. When you got a guy at your chest whose chipping away at your stamina with every successful body shot, there needs to be a counter-maneuver, catalyst, to offset that flow. He allowed the pattern to persist and that nimble strategy dissapeared. H3 clearly did not have the stamina ( or steel ribs ) Its a bit like Frazier vs. Mathis-except Mathis had more tools and skills than Biggs. Biggs never adjusted. His heart got eaten along with the disrespect he showed Tyson-the worst type of payback. Tyson ate his Gold Medal...
