Hi Mike, we love your videos and we're wondering if you could offer some advice please? We decided to get our Cocker Lola spayed in March as she suffered several phantom pregnancies, which were awful to witness her experience. We knew that her coat would change.. but not quite as drastic as it has! Lola is a Golden Show Cocker (nearly 3 years old) and WAS silky smooth and very shiny coated, short on the body with feathery legs but in the last couple of months her coat has gone dull and fluffy, shes developed curls around her back and her legs have got thicker feather and even her stomach now too. We groom her daily and she has frequent visits to the groomers. Are there any products or tips you could recommend to improve the appearance of her coat and give her the silky smooth sheen she once had?

Cocker spaniels shouldn't be clipped!!! It may lead to skin issues and undercoat overgrowth :(

I have had 4 cocker only one didn't need to be clipped short. She had a different coat more like a springer. In the summer I clip them very short for comfort. My current one got very matted after being spayed and she had to be clipped. Grow her hair long for the winter. It gets cold here.
