MIG SWITCH or MOD CHIP SWITCH

Mod Chip is superior in my opinion. Just being able to overclock the switch, installing 60FPS cheats, and even booting into Andriod/Linux for emulator support is just too good to pass up. Installing the modchip is dirt cheap too, just a cheap soldering iron, a $10 modchip and some patience is enough.

@@ericthomas2388 I agree to an extent. Definitely for the v1 switch it's a lot easier to solder. But the oled switch was annoying IMHO. But if you have the skill, it's a no brainer. If you don't, you may risk bricking your switch.

Sweet spot is v2 Mariko. performance wise similar to oled, smaller node, long time battery, and high oc capacity, whilst being easy to solder​@@mikeys_youtube_makes

So what if you use the Mig switch on hard mod switch in EMUnand and use 90dns this should work to block ?

@@RGhandhelds this is the setup I have now. And works fine. But it's just whether it's worth getting the mig Switch if you've already hard modded it

Yea the certificate thing makes the mig switch pretty much worth less imo unless just trying to not carry all ur games around. But let's me honest who needs to carry more than what a case can carry.

There are similar things to Mig Switch such as R4Switch and Switchit.

I tried the mig switch, and it corrupted my sd card, creating a request that cannot be deleted, A thousand times better for the price to put a chip and forget about it

The mig switch mostly is used for pirate roms

@@cloudliusihui they both are. But the mig Switch requires you to have the bin files. And from what I've seen there are websites that just contain the xci files. So more than likely people are using the mig Switch to backup original physical games
