Motown vibes is the best way I've heard his music described yet. You're absolutely right too. But I'd have to say the last artist recently that gives me the same kind of vibes is actually Bruno Mars. But his style is much more polished. Teddy Swims is chock full of soul and grit. It's like everything he does you can instantly relate to and connect with. His music makes you want to move.
