Great video Mike . I was having the same issue with the fish coming off my circle hooks, using chicken as well . I went with a 3/0 circle hook and only lost 1 after that . They were smaller blues, but yet the average of 2 to 3 lb. Range , with a descent amount of smaller ones as well .Just some food for thought , brother . Also , I cut the bait size amount into smaller pieces as well .

I finally found some of those no roll sinkers like you’re using when I was at the Bass Pro Shop tonight in Okc. The place is so big it takes a minute to find things lol I found some Thingamabobber w/Doohickey attachment, so I can lift the bait off the bottom or take it off and bottom fish without redoing my rig. It was back by the fly fishing equipment lol
