Hey Mike, You probably already know this but watching you clean your fish I see that you didn’t bleed them. I always clip the gills on one side just before I leave the lake and put them back in the livewell. By the time I get home the fish are completely bled-out and ready to fillet. The water inside the live well will be a little bit bloody but not a big mess. And you will have no blood on your cleaning table, knife, sink, hands or on your fillets. Only pure white meat without soaking. Since I learned about this trick, I won’t keep fish any other way! Use some shears or scissors and give it a try. I bet you won’t regret it! I always enjoy your videos and look forward to your next one!

Mike, I LOVE your double sink cleaning setup! Only thing I would change is to put something under your scrap bucket to lift it up so there wouldn't be a gap. I can say that because I would be flinging pieces through the hole and missing the bucket sometimes! Ha ha! Thanks for another great video!

Made a couple stringers just like yours last year and thanks for sharing. I enjoy watching your videos and Truman Lake! Been grabbing suckers here at home on the Meramec River until I can get back to the lake. Hope to see you on the water sometime!

@@MikeBakerVideos Would you recommend running from Bucksaw all the way up or put in somewhere up there. And are the channels between the otters and say sparrowfoot good enough to run safely?
@MikeBakerVideos22 күн бұрын
@ you can do either one and yes the channel is plenty wide to run. You need a good map in your graph. I use a Lakemaster card in my Humminbird. It is very accurate.

Mike, we all love your video presentations, I mean, you're THE BEST! Mike, I just want to know what type of batteries you use for your electronics? I've never seen your voltage below 14.3 volts. WHAT KIND AND WHAT VOLTAGE? PLEASE RESPOND.

Mike, what is your slot limit on you keeping Crappie ? I have noticed that you throw the big ones back. I am assuming that is for spawing reasons.

@@dennisaustin9292 by law there is a 9 inch length limit on Truman Lake. My personal choice is to not keep any Crappie over 1 pound.
