1:01:40 Your theory is actually 100% correct! In the first game they reveal more of the origins of the show. Sam Colton originally created the show that had his adopted daughter Rebecca playing Amanda because he wanted to help kids learn and grow by making his own show. The original Amanda The Adventurer was also a live-action production as well. Later on, Hamelin took notice of the show and bought the rights to it from Sam, with Sam likely wanting to grow the show and fund the library like you theorize here. Hamelin turned it into the animated form we all know and kept Rebecca around long enough to provide a "voice database" for their show. After they started messing around with all the demonic stuff and Sam got suspicious, they imprisoned him for a while to keep Rebecca calm before eventually killing him, as alluded to in the "Hunting for Treasure" tape. You did miss a secret when they asked you which direction to go, but it's understandable. Why would you go to the area marked "danger" when you're dealing with Amanda, am I right? XD Anyway, the TL;DR of that secret is if you guide Amanda and Woolly to the area marked "danger," they end up digging up Sam's clothes, and Amanda seems scared and upset by them. The camera then shifts perspective to look at the two from inside the hole, and Amanda says that some things are better off staying buried. She and Woolly then start filling in the hole, like they're burying us alive. It doesn't help that it looks like we're looking at them through a human eye. So it's heavily implied that Sam Colton is truly dead. Either way though, I loved your playthrough, Mikeeey! Hope you're doing OK after all the scares XD

At the end when the possum was trying to speak before he died, he was trying to say "Joanne" and when Joanna finally reveals herself, she said that she was only trying to find her brother, Jordan (at least something like that) so i think, since wooly and Amanda didn't know who Joanne is, the possum could be Joanne's brother. Jordan. just saw Mikey said this at the end 💀💀

Interestingly Kate said "Joanne is dead" HOWEVER Joanne was still alive up until the end of the game which makes me wonder what happened that made Kate think Joanne had died. Kate also seemed to be speeding like she was in a panic so its possible one of the monsters showed up when Kate and Joanne were together and Joanne had told Kate to run just like she had told Riley to and that's why Kate was such in a panic while also thinking Joanne had died and possibly one of the reasons why she stayed behind at the ending thinking she could survive again.

I only now realise that the moment that Joanne "The masked person" spoke is when the Possum targets the screen and tries speaking (saying "Jo" repeatedly). Not to mention its the last time we see him after getting thrown into dumpster where we get the lore and ultimately watch Joanne get mauled by the new monster (which i believe to be the mutant possum). But hey, that's just a theory.. "A game theory!" -A goated theorist who filled FNAF's pages. (If you're wondering who I watched to think of this, it was 8-Bit Ryan who did inspire most of this thought process) Edit: Wooly is still my favorite character, though. Wooly is just another soul trapped in Amanda The Adventurer and so is that possum that keeps trying to ruin Amanda’s episodes and the possum is also the masked figures little brother that went missing because in the first game their was a note written to Kate from Johanne about her little brother going missing and during the episode when they were in the alley way and the possum showed up it was saying “Joh” which he was referring to Johanne(the masked figure) so they are more souls trapped in the show they just Amanda.Also wooly was not that voice in the hospital in the secret tape it was a person from Hameln and the person recorded was Kate or Johanne and wooly is scared of Amanda and just tries to help her so maybe he can get out to.I know you already figured some of this out but I just wanted to share!

I feel like Amanda is criminally misunderstood and is suffering immensly, and because of the "We Can Fix It" tape; due to how sinister it was and the countless times Amanda was seen being mentally and emotionally tortured by Wooly. Hameln probably put Wooly in to redirect Amanda from the harsh reality her actual self is going through and hameln did something when they took over which resulted in Amanda becoming even more vulnerable. I'm almost positive Wooly has a soul too though... Another thing ive noticed is that in Amanda 2, Amanda acts less violent and hostile towards Riley (us) unlike the 1st game, (that might be just me tbh) it might be because of us and her being stranger-like so she may become hostile towards people not conncted to her in anyway but because we kept watching the tapes, Rileys and Amanda's connection builds up in a way so she may think Riley can save her. This, being mentioned in the Goodnight tape if you give her the nightlight. This is probably because both know about Aunt Kate. I am on Amanda's side w/ the whole lore thing.
